Questions, answered
Is the site audit really free?
Yes. The grade, mobile speed and top three findings show on this page. The full report costs a name and an email address, and that's it.
Will this slow down or break my site?
No. It makes a handful of ordinary requests, about what one visitor loading your homepage does, spaced out so they never pile up. It doesn't log in, submit forms or go looking for hidden pages.
Why is my mobile score lower than desktop?
Google tests on a mid-range phone over a throttled mobile connection, on purpose. Most sites score lower on mobile. The full report shows which part of the load is slow.
What does possibly affected mean?
Your homepage shows a plugin version that falls inside a published advisory's range. If you've updated since, it may not apply. Updating the plugin is usually the fix.
Do you only work on WordPress?
No. The audit reads any site. We build custom sites and fix existing ones, and the verdict says which one we'd recommend for yours.
What happens to my email?
We send you the report link. Tick the box and you'll also get the occasional email from us, and you can unsubscribe from those any time. Nobody else gets your address.
Rather talk it through?
Book 15 minutes. We'll go through your report and tell you what's worth doing now and what can wait.
